LevanteUD website in english

Notapor Lancastrian el Vie Jul 18, 2008 1:13 am

I feel it is a great step forward that the website is in English. This will make us much known abroad and it may encourage english visitors to Valencia to come and watch us play at "the Ciudad de Valencia".I congratulate the one in charge of the web for its brilliant idea.

Got to agree. Nice job to the team that put it all together. Would be nice, one day, for the history side to be translated as well. Good work guys!!

What happened to the English version of the site? It didn't last very long.

No it did not last long.I sent an e-mail complaining that the english version was shortlived which proved that our club remains a village club which is a great shame. :-@

It is a shame... I think the English site would have got more & more interest leading up to the 100th anniversary date. Personally I enjoyed reading the site at work in London before I moved over to Valencia. However, not having the English site has made me learn a few more Spanish words... I always knew football could be educational! :-D

I presume you are british.I suggest you send an e-mail to the club complaining about the closure of the english version and pointing out that it can only help attracting english supporters to the club from the U.K. and Spain. In fact it did help attracting english supporters when we were in la Primera Division in the previous two seasons.
