Congratulations Lancastrian for victory, I was watching the match (not all). .
My english team Bristol Rovers won too.

Many thanks for your congratulations.Our current manager is spanish and a former Latics player Roberto Martinez.Wigan played really well passing football like Barcelona.We could have scored another 2 more goals.I am pleased that Bristol Rovers won.We signed Jason Roberts from that club 6 seasons ago.

On the second game at home at the DW Stadium Wigan lost against Wolverhampton 0-1.Goal was scored by Keogh on the minute 6.Latics were poor on this game.Wigan is capable of the best (winning Villa at Villa Park and the worst losing at home against Wolves).

First half Latics played well passing the ball well and defending solidly but in the second half defensively we were poor making some grave mistakes which made us concede at least two goals.We looked also tired and we made it easier for Manchester to beat us.What worries me is that we conceded too many goals (five).The change of manager from Steve Bruce to Roberto Martinez in the first three games is showing that our defensive system is poorer this season and to achieve survival any team must concede fewer goals.If we have lost against United 0-2 I will be happier and more satisfied.

But when you are playing against a team like Manchester United, with a great quality, in two beats, they can destroy you, Wigan shoot three times and it does not scoring anything Manchester two shoots two goals, and is very difficult for a team like Wigan or another team.
The most important for Wigan, is try to win to the teams which are in similar level, if you can win to Manchester, Liverpool etc, this is thing thant you have find it.

On the 22/8/09 Latics played at the DW stadium against Manchester United who won 0-5.Scorers were Rooney min.56 0-1,Berbatov min.58 0-2,Rooney min.65 0-3,Owen min.85 0-4 and Nani min.90 0-5.Latics played and defended well in the first-half but in the second-half some defensive errors cost Latics 2 goals.
