In this context it means I speak spanish very badly. I don't know the spanish expression for it, although I bet there's at least a few.

sucks in this context means bad , but only americans say this in this context !

Hehehe, I talk to many americans daily in msn, so that's where I've learned the word, and tv and movies.

In Finland, we have tv series and movies always in original language with finnish subtitles, which reminds me, they're showing Los Serranos in tv in Finland atm and it's really popular in there. My family's watching it, too.
